Replacement Landing Craft for the Normandy Armada Exhibit at The National World War II Museum. The smaller landing craft, the LCVPs, were made by taking an original model and using it as a master to make a urethane rubber mold and casting duplicates in urethane resin. The larger landing craft, the LSTs, were made of bass wood for the hull and the profile superstructure was laser cut from acrylic sheet to match the original model.
